Getting started
Who will I meet at The Timetabling Academy?
When you join the Academy, you join a community of university timetablers from around the UK and beyond. From people new to the role, through to timetabling managers. The Academy community forum makes it easy for you to meet and chat with fellow timetablers facing similar challenges.
Do I need to pay to join The Timetabling Academy?
Yes. Your paid membership gives you access to the full suite of Academy workshops, events, resources and more. See your membership options. We’re also happy to chat you through these and help you find the one that’s right for you and your team.
How do I pay?
You can pay by invoice or card. When we speak, let us know how your university would prefer to pay and we will either send you details so you can raise a purchase order, or send you a link to pay by card.
Is this a recurring membership?
No. Your membership lasts for 12 months. At the end of those 12 months, we’ll be in touch to see if you’d like to stay on, and if so we’ll arrange payment again – we won’t ever automatically charge you for another year.
What happens if I join, and then decide it’s not for me?
Don’t worry, it happens. You have a 14-day window in which to change your mind after you’ve paid for your membership. Have a good look around, try out the Academy’s features and if you decide we’re not the crew for you, simply ask for a full refund.
How do I log into and access The Timetabling Academy?
The Timetabling Academy is hosted on Circle – a secure, cloud-based platform, accessed using your normal web browser, you don’t need to download anything. You’ll get a log in once you’re signed up and inside, you’ll find all of the workshops, events, recordings, resources and the forum. Pro-tip: bookmark the sign-in page so you can get in quickly whenever you need.
