We know how hard you work. And we also know that magic happens when you put a load of timetablers all in the same room (trust us, we’ve seen it!).
So we created the Escentral community meet ups – free get-togethers exclusively for timetablers. A day to step off the timetabling treadmill, meet other timetablers and leave refreshed and inspired. All powered by coffee and cake!

How does it work?
Our community meetups are free to attend but spaces are limited so you’ll need to reserve your spot in advance.
If there are none near you, or your next nearest meet-up is fully booked, register your interest and we’ll let you know when the next one is. Or you could offer to host one at your university.

10:00 Kick off
Prepare yourself for the day ahead with a cup of freshly brewed morning tea or coffee. Don't forget to grab your bag of freebies and get ready to jump-start your brain!
Addressing Problems & Discussion
During this morning session, you'll collaborate with your peers, creating an effective plan for understanding your problem topic using professional frameworks. We'll be on hand to guide you and answer your questions.

Lunch & Learn
Join the hosting institution for a "Lunch & Learn" session, where you can enjoy a nourishing meal and an invigorating presentation, followed by a question & answer session, plus time to network with your peers.
Implementing Solutions
Following on from the morning session, you'll again collaborate with your peers, creating a plan for addressing your problem topic using professional frameworks. We'll be there to guide you and answer your questions.
Closing Reception
Although the final activity is scheduled to end at 4pm, we invite you to stay-on and socialize over a drink if you're not in a hurry to leave.

We want to make the meet ups accessible for as many timetablers as possible, and are looking out for new universities to host a meet up. In particular, we’d love to find a host in London, Scotland and the North of England.
