Over the last month we have worked on projects that include;
Teaching Space Data Modelling
At the start of August we completed a predictive teaching space modelling contract, determining the future teaching space requirements for the next two academic years. For this project we provided a turn key data model that the HE organisation can continue to use for testing new scenarios.
Timetable Scheduling
Throughout August, we have supported two HE organisations with the completion of timetables for the upcoming academic year. For one organisation, this included creating timetables for apprenticeship courses and for the other this included resourcing all taught activities.
Timetable Team Management
At the start of the summer we started providing timetabling team management support for an HE organisation, covering a short-term staffing shortage. For this project a member of our team is dedicated to managing the organisation's timetabling team and supporting the scheduling process for the upcoming academic year.
Timetable Team Mentorship
Throughout August a member of our team has been providing ongoing mentorship support to an HE organisation, supporting a new timetabling team to successfully deliver Semester 1 timetables by the published deadline.
Stakeholder Engagement Workshops
In early August we completed the first round of academic faculty stakeholder workshops for an HE organisation. These live and interactive workshops focussed on exploring the current practices, targeted process improvements and gathering feedback from the stakeholders on issues they are facing and ideas for improving the timetabling process.
