We’ve been working with the team at the University of Winchester with precisely this challenge, by building an adaptable teaching space model.
It determines the number, type and size of teaching space required - per semester and per week – and because it’s adaptable, it can accommodate changing scenarios (like the ones listed above) and allow the team to test the impact of different strategic decisions on teaching space requirements.
Ultimately, this is helping them to get the most out of their existing estate, and plan for the future effectively too.
